Air Gap
| An air gap is a replica copy of production information on a secondary storage system that is not connected to any production or public networks. This type of security measure is used to protect sensitive data from being accessed by unauthorized individuals. Air gaps can be created by physically disconnecting the secondary storage system from all networks, or by using software that prevents the system from being accessed remotely. |
