Airnode
| Airnode is an API gateway that acts as the Web3 oracle solution. It can link web APIs to blockchain applications. By doing so, it allows blockchain applications to interact with any web API. This is made possible by Airnode's unique architecture. Airnode consists of two parts: a relay and an adapter. The relay is responsible for connecting to the blockchain. The adapter is responsible for connecting to the web API. The relay and adapter are connected to each other through a secure channel. This channel is used to pass data between the two components. The data that is passed through this channel is encrypted. Airnode is designed to be highly scalable. It can support thousands of concurrent connections. The relay can also be run on multiple servers. This allows Airnode to handle a large number of requests. Airnode is open source. This means that anyone can contribute to the development of Airnode. |
