Bep-95 (Bruno Hard Fork Upgrade)
BEP-95 (Bruno Hard Fork Upgrade) - Binance Evolution Protocol, aiming to optimize the speed of the BNB burning process. The BEP-95 upgrade, also known as the Bruno hard fork upgrade, is a proposed change to the Binance Evolution Protocol (BEP) that would optimize the speed of the Binance Coin (BNB) burning process. The BEP-95 upgrade is named after Bruno Block, the creator of the BEP-95 proposal. If implemented, the BEP-95 upgrade would increase the speed of the BNB burning process by a factor of 10,000, from 1 BNB every 10 minutes to 1 BNB every 10 seconds. This would significantly reduce the time required to complete the Binance Coin burn, which is currently scheduled to occur over the course of the next 100 years. The BEP-95 upgrade is currently in the proposal stage, and has not yet been implemented. Binance has not yet taken a position on the proposal, and it is not clear if or when the upgrade will be implemented. |
