Blockchain 1.0
| Blockchain 1.0 was the original version of blockchain technology that was focused on cryptocurrency and decentralization. This version of blockchain was created in 2009 with the launch of Bitcoin, and it was the first time that a decentralized digital currency was created. Blockchain 1.0 allowed for the transfer of value between two parties without the need for a third party, such as a bank or government. This made it possible for people to send and receive money without the need for a central authority. |
