Candidate Block
| Candidate blocks are a key part of the mining process, and are necessary in order to gain rewards. In order to mine a candidate block, a miner must first find a block that is valid and meets all of the necessary criteria. Once a valid block is found, the miner must then add it to the blockchain. The miner will then receive a reward for their efforts. |
