Change
| Change - in UTXO models, the amount of cryptocurrency that is sent back to the owner after using unspent outputs to initiate the transaction process - can be seen as a return on investment. In the traditional financial system, when someone makes a purchase, they are essentially using up their money, and they do not get anything back in return. With cryptocurrency, however, when someone uses unspent outputs to make a purchase, they are actually earning a return on their investment, as they are receiving change back from the transaction. This return on investment can be seen as an incentive for people to use cryptocurrency, as it provides them with a way to earn more money. |
