Core Wallet

A core wallet is a type of cryptocurrency wallet that stores the entire blockchain. This is in contrast to a wallet that only stores a particular piece of the blockchain.

The advantage of a core wallet is that it allows the user to fully participate in the network. They can validate transactions and create new blocks. This type of wallet is also more secure because it is not reliant on a third party.

The downside of a core wallet is that it takes up a lot of space. The entire blockchain is currently over 160GB. This means that it is not practical for most people to run a full node. It also takes a long time to sync the wallet with the network.

If you are interested in participating in the network, then a core wallet is a good choice. However, if you just want to store your coins, then a lighter wallet might be a better option.
