Darknodes
What are darknodes? Darknodes are the specific nodes that interact with one another to run the Secure Order Matcher. In other words, they are the computers that keep the network running. The more darknodes there are, the more secure and decentralized the network is. To become a darknode, one must first stake a minimum of 1000 DRK. This can be done in a few different ways, but the most common is to buy DRK on an exchange and then send it to your own personal wallet. Once the DRK is in your wallet, you can then start the process of setting up your darknode. The first thing you need to do is download the darknode software. This can be found on the official website. Once you have the software, you will need to generate a unique key. This key is what will identify your darknode on the network. Once you have your key, you will need to set up a server. This can be done on a virtual private server (VPS) or a dedicated server. Once your server is set up, you will need to install the darknode software. Once the software is installed, you will need to start your darknode. This can be done by running the following command: darknode --daemon Once your darknode is up and running, you will need to register it on the network. This can be done by running the following command: darknode --register Once your darknode is registered, you will need to start staking DRK. This can be done by running the following command: darknode --stake Once you have started staking DRK, you will need to wait for the network to recognize your darknode. This can take up to 24 hours. Once your darknode is recognized by the network, you will be able to start earning rewards. These rewards come in the form of DRK. The more DRK you stake, the more rewards you will earn. So, that's it! That's how you can become a darknode. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments below. |
