This outlook is based on the belief that decentralization leads to more freedom, flexibility, and opportunity. Decentralization Maximalists believe that centralization leads to more control and less freedom. They argue that centralization leads to less opportunity because it gives more power to those who are already in power. They also believe that centralization leads to more inequality because it concentrates power and resources in the hands of a few. |
