Decentralized Identifier (Did)

A Decentralized Identifier (DID) is a proof of ownership of a digital identity (ID) that is issued by an autonomous decentralized platform. The DID can be used to authenticate the owner of the digital ID and to prove that the owner has the right to use the digital ID. The DID can also be used to verify the authenticity of the digital ID and to ensure that the digital ID is not being used fraudulently.
