| Decentralized Payment Network - allows individuals to trade funds without the requirement for a third party to intervene to keep the network safe and functional. This is done by using a peer-to-peer system, which means that each user is both a client and a server. This system is also known as a trustless system, because it does not require users to trust each other in order for the system to work. The most famous example of a decentralized payment network is Bitcoin. |
