Field Programmable Gate Array

Field Programmable Gate Array - (FPGA) is a unified circuit that enables users or developers to adjust it after it has been manufactured. This makes it a powerful tool for prototyping and design since it can be reconfigured to test different designs and settings.

FPGAs are made up of configurable logic blocks (CLBs) and programmable interconnects that allow the blocks to be connected in different ways. This makes it possible to create different logic circuits without having to physically change the layout of the chip.

CLBs can be configured to perform a wide variety of logic functions, including AND, OR, XOR, and flip-flops. The interconnects can be programmed to route signals between the CLBs in different ways. This makes it possible to create complex logic circuits with a wide range of functions.

FPGAs are used in a wide variety of applications, including communication, networking, and storage. They are also used in high-performance computing, where their ability to be reconfigured to perform different tasks makes them well suited for parallel processing.
