Fill Or Kill Order (Fok)

A Fill or Kill order is a type of stock order that must be executed immediately and in its entirety, or it will be canceled. This type of order is usually used in fast-moving markets where a delay in execution could result in a significant difference in the price of the security.

Fill or kill orders are typically used by large institutional investors and professional traders who need to be sure that their orders will be filled at the price they want. This type of order is not suitable for small investors or novice traders because it can be very difficult to execute.

If you want to place a fill or kill order, you will need to contact your broker and give them specific instructions. Your broker will then send the order to the exchange where it will be matched with another order.

Fill or kill orders are not always successful, and there is a risk that your order will not be filled. This type of order is not for everyone, but it can be a useful tool for experienced investors who need to be sure that their orders are filled quickly and at the price they want.
