Gas War
| A gas war is a bidding war that happens when investors start paying higher gas fees in order to push their transactions to be verified in the upcoming transaction block. This usually happens when the market is about to experience a major price shift, and investors want to get their transactions in before the price change happens. Gas wars can also happen when there is a lot of activity on the network and investors want to make sure their transactions are verified as quickly as possible. |
