Hard Cap
| A hard cap is the absolute maximum supply limit of a particular cryptocurrency. For example, Bitcoin has a hard cap of 21 million BTC. This means that no more than 21 million BTC can ever be created. Hard caps are put in place to prevent inflation and ensure that the value of a cryptocurrency remains stable. |
