Hybrid Pow/Pos
| Hybrid PoW/PoS is a mechanism that allows both Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS) algorithms to be used on the network. This allows for a more secure network as both algorithms work together to provide security. The PoW algorithm is used to confirm transactions and add new blocks to the blockchain, while the PoS algorithm is used to validate transactions and add new blocks to the blockchain. This system is more secure than using just one algorithm as it is more difficult for an attacker to control both algorithms. |
