Liveness

Liveness is the guarantee that a system will continue providing data and will not be shut down by any centralized authority. This is an important property of any distributed system, as it ensures that the system will remain operational even in the face of failures.

There are many ways to achieve liveness in a system. One common approach is to use redundancy, which ensures that there are multiple copies of the data and that the system can continue to operate even if one or more copies are lost. Another approach is to use decentralized control, which ensures that no single entity can shut down the system.

Liveness is an important property of any distributed system, as it ensures that the system will remain operational even in the face of failures. There are many ways to achieve liveness in a system, but two of the most common are redundancy and decentralized control.
