Metaverse-As-A-Service (Maas)

Metaverse-as-a-Service (MaaS) is a technological solution used to build metaverses. A metaverse is a virtual world that is built on top of the existing internet infrastructure. It is a persistent, online, virtual world that is populated by avatars, which are digital representations of users. The avatars can interact with each other and with the environment in real time.

MaaS provides the platform and tools that are needed to build a metaverse. It includes the server infrastructure, the client software, and the tools for creating and managing avatars and content. MaaS is designed to be scalable and extensible, so that it can support a large number of users and a wide variety of applications.

MaaS is being developed by a consortium of companies, including Microsoft, IBM, and Intel. The consortium is working to create an open standard for MaaS that will allow any company to build a metaverse.

The goal of MaaS is to create a new type of internet, one that is based on virtual reality and 3D graphics. The hope is that the metaverse will become a platform for a wide range of applications, including education, training, entertainment, and commerce.
