Nominators
Nominators are one of the two major parties participating in a blockchain network that employs the nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS) consensus mechanism. They play a critical role in validating transactions and ensuring the security of the network. In a NPoS system, there are two types of nodes: validators and nominators. Validators are responsible for validating transactions and maintaining the blockchain. Nominators, on the other hand, are responsible for selecting the validators that they trust to do the job properly. Nominators play an important role in ensuring the security of the network. They do this by selecting validators that they believe will act in the best interests of the network and by monitoring the activity of the validators they have chosen. If a nominator believes that a validator is not acting in the best interests of the network, they can remove their support for that validator, which will ultimately lead to that validator being removed from the network. The NPoS consensus mechanism is a key part of the security of the network. By selecting validators that they trust and monitoring their activity, nominators help to ensure that the network remains secure. |
