Off-Chain Transaction

Off-Chain Transaction - a transaction that occurs outside of the main blockchain.

Off-Chain Transactions (OCT) are transactions that occur outside of the main blockchain. OCTs can be used to speed up transactions and reduce congestion on the main blockchain. OCTs are often used for large or complex transactions that would take too long to process on the main blockchain. OCTs are also used to keep private information private, as they are not stored on the main blockchain.
