Raiden Network
| Raiden Network is an off-chain, second-layer on Ethereum’s blockchain that operates as an immediate and scalable payment channel that doesn’t require global consensus. By using this network, users can make fast, cheap, and private payments without having to wait for block confirmations. The Raiden Network is an important part of the Ethereum ecosystem because it provides a way to scale the blockchain. By using payment channels, the network can handle a large number of transactions without having to wait for each one to be confirmed by the blockchain. This makes it possible to use Ethereum for applications that require a lot of transactions, such as a decentralized exchange. The Raiden Network is still in development and is not yet available for use. However, there is a testnet that anyone can use to try out the network. |
