Spear Phishing

Spear phishing is a targeted attack that aims to force the victim to reveal their personal data. The attacker will usually send an email that appears to be from a legitimate source, such as a financial institution or a company that the victim does business with. The email will often contain a link that takes the victim to a fake website that looks identical to the legitimate website. The victim is then asked to enter their personal information, such as their username and password, which the attacker can then use to gain access to the victim's account.

Spear phishing is a serious threat to both individuals and businesses. It is important to be aware of the signs of a spear phishing attack and to never click on links or enter personal information into websites that you are not familiar with. If you believe that you have been the victim of a spear phishing attack, you should contact your local police department or the FBI.
