Taint

Taint refers to the cryptocurrency percentage in one account that can be traced back to a different account. For example, if someone has 1 Bitcoin in their account, and they receive 1 Bitcoin from someone else, their account now has 100% taint. However, if they then send that Bitcoin to a third person, the taint on their account would decrease to 50%. The taint of an account can be used to track where Bitcoins have been and who has been using them.
