Virgin Bitcoin
| Bitcoin that has never been spent is often referred to as "virgin bitcoin." While there is no definitive way to determine how much virgin bitcoin exists, it is generally agreed that it represents a significant portion of the total supply of bitcoin. There are a number of reasons why someone might choose to hold onto virgin bitcoin, including the belief that it will increase in value over time or as a way to support the bitcoin network. Whatever the reason, virgin bitcoin represents a unique and intriguing aspect of the bitcoin ecosystem. |
